George Greer and Nancy Isom are my Maternal GG Grandparents. I have not been able to find much info on George Greer before he moved to Indiana. I show him as being born in Grayson County Virginia in 1798. I did find a George Greer in the 1828 Grayson County Virgina Tax List as having 1 White Tithable and 1 Horse, paying .12 tax. The cemetery records show his death date as 1865, but I have records that verify his death in 1864. Thanks to a newfound cousin, Christina Jones, who has also done a lot of reasearch, I have been able to fill in a lot of missing dates and info.
